O Contato Improvisação como Vibração Homóloga: plano de imanência, gesto e encontro no ato da dança
Ana Carolina Frinhani; Jonas Karlos de Souza Feitoza
Resumo
This article investigates gesture in Contact Improvisation (CI) as a relational event that emerges from the encounter between bodies in situation, shifting its understanding away from mere motor execution or individual expression. The objective is to think of gesture as homologous vibration, that is, as an intensive modulation produced within an immanent plane of cooperation in which movement, perception, and thought are co-implicated. The research is justified by the need to deepen approaches that understand CI beyond a dance technique, recognizing it as a practice of real-time composition and the production of presence. Methodologically, the study adopts a theoretical-conceptual and practical-reflective path of an immanent nature, not aligned with preexisting methodological models, articulating conceptual reflection, engagement with practice, and writing as an operation of thought. The theoretical framework engages contributions from philosophy and psychoanalysis, particularly Suely Rolnik, Gilles Deleuze, and Félix Guattari, as well as authors from the field of dance such as Steve Paxton, José Gil, and Jonas Karlos Feitoza.
