Corpo humano e ensino de ciências: o que faz sentido aos alunos do oitavo ano do ensino fundamental

Resumo

The present research aims to understand what makes sense for the student of the 8th year of elementary school to study about the human body. A theoretical and methodological approach, based on Bernard Charlot's Relationship with Know, used to carry out the research. By categorizing and analyzing the data obtained, we sought to emphasize the meanings of studying the human body by eighth-grade students from two public elementary school in the city of Cumbe / SE. With the central question "What is the meaning of studying the human body in eighth grade science classes?” It seeks to highlight the meaning for the student and what makes him or herself mobilize intellectually to learn about the human body. It is a qualitative research of the descriptive type, having as techniques of data collection the Balance of Adapted Knowledge and Group Interviews with the Content Analysis of Bardin (2011). The results obtained are discussed in a detailed way, based on a bibliographical review and theoretical frameworks that help in the understanding of the students' senses about the human body, present in the various answers raised in the interviews and balance sheets throughout the data collection process. Students have the desire to learn subjects of the human body that they can connect with their daily life, meaning for their daily life, which they can put into practice and also share with their family and friends. These subjects make sense to them, to the other and to the world, being representative of the dimensions of identity, social and epistemic of the Relationship with Know (CHARLOT, 2000, 2005, 2013).
